We're celebrating Read Across America Week with a mystery reader each day! Wednesday's Mystery Reader was Mrs. Burch. She recommended the book Madeline Finn and the Library Dog. Enjoy Mrs. Burch reading the book she recommended!

hey I'm going to be reading Madeline Shannon and the library dog this is one of my favorite books I hope you enjoy it Madeline stand in the library dog do not like to read not books not magazine not even the menu on the ice cream truck and I especially do not like to read out loud keep trying Madeline soon my teacher says sometimes gets stuck in my mouth like peanut butter sometimes people giggle I never get a star sticker for my teacher not even instead I get a heart that says cheap trying I want the store good readers stars are her understanding words and for saying them out loud but I know what else there for stars are mermaids wishes make a wish for my very own I guess wishes take a while because don't get my star on Monday or Tuesday trying my teacher tells me on Wednesday on Thursday I said the frog's name wrong it's a no get away with Sam Friday is no better on Saturday mom takes me to the library band this is dimple says she's aren't I don't like to read I remind her just in case you forgot oh I remember but today we have something special something you might enjoy Madeline fan would you like to read to a dog this is dimple leave me over to a big white don't this is Bonnie why don't you pick out a book to read to her she's a listener Bonnie is beautiful like a big snowy polar bear would you like to try my yes please I say first I'm nervous letters mixed up and the words don't seem right look at Bonnie and she looked right into my she doesn't go I feel better so I try again halfway through I get stuck on another word Bonnie doesn't mind she puts her big balls in my lap and let me pet her after that Bonnie and I read together ever Saturday it's fun to read when you're not afraid of making mistakes Bonnie teaches me that it's okay to go slow and to keep trying just like stickers still don't have a store but I can be patient soon it's almost time to reading class again when I go to the library or he's not there would you like to wait for another job the other librarian and not thank you Bonnie was just today but what about school why ask you'll be fine on Monday morning and Berry Madeline Sheehan would you like to read next that your  yes the first has pretty well then I messed up on a word and another your someone giggle then I think about Bonnie take a deep breath and 410 right next to me next thing I know I'm at the bottom of the feet I look at my teacher and she has a big smile on her face on Saturday we go to the library again simple is that store and tell her I want to give it to Bonnie will do my Madilyn Cianci says I think Bonnie might have a surprise for you too Madeline would you like to read to Bonnie and Union yes please I stay nice and loud it's my favorite because it reminds us not to give up of course I love reading but just remember it's okay to mess up just keep trying
